Care & Maintenance
By following these simple tips, your AVILO furniture will stay in the best condition for many years to come.
Powder coated surfaces
Clean surfaces with a clean, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a solution of water and mild soap. Remember to wipe off any soap residue with a clean, dry cloth immediately.
Textiles
Vacuum the furniture on a regular basis, with a dedicated furniture nozzle. Remove non-greasy stains by gently dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge dampened in warm water. If necessary, you can dab with soapy water. Finally, dab the surface with clean water.Grease stains are removed by using dedicated cleaning agents. We recommend testing the cleaning agent on an non-visible area first, to see if there is any effect on the material. Be sure to dry the surface completely before use.
Leather
Vacuum the furniture on a regular basis, with a dedicated furniture nozzle. To absorb spilled liquids, use a clean and dry cloth immediately. Stains are removed using a lather from soap shavings, whipped up in water. The foam must be applied over the entire surface, with a soft cloth. Use only the foam and avoid getting the leather wet. When the leather is dry, polish it with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Never use other cleaning agents than this.
Ceramics
Clean surfaces with a clean, dry cloth. The special glaze our ceramic products are made of, does not withstand the influence of water on the outside.
